About collaboration

Patrick S. Osmer — September 20, 2012

Patrick S. Osmer,
Vice Provost of Graduate Studies and Dean of the Graduate School

A quick word about collaboration:

Make sure you understand what your advisor and faculty teaching your courses mean when they expect or allow you to collaborate on assignments or exams.

The Graduate School has been involved in several recent cases involving graduate students and alleged unauthorized collaboration. Such cases can lead to serious ramifications, including findings of academic and research misconduct.

You can do a lot to make sure that you are following your instructor’s expectations for course work and your advisor’s expectations for your research.

The key is communication.

Make sure that you understand when collaboration is required, allowed, or not allowed. Realize that the expectations may change from assignment to assignment or even within parts of an assigned activity. Read the course syllabus carefully, and ask questions if you are unclear about the expectations.

Hi Gayla! I'm a Columbus native. (Woo! Go Columbus!) Though I'm not super aitvce in the local gardening scene I can point you towards the North Market (a farmers garden on Saturdays) in the heart of downtown. There are also several health food stores all over the city that shouldn't be too hard to find. I would also recommend seeing the Columbus Zoo, it's one of the best in the country! Please feel free to email me if you think I might be of assistance ^_^

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword....wait there's even more Now what if i told you there was a simple Wordpress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That's right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. <a href="http://www.SearchEngineOptimizationTips.info/">Seo Plugin</a> seo plugin http://www.SearchEngineOptimizationTips.info/
