Regain your focus

I often speak about what distinguishes graduate education. The three hallmarks that I always mention are creativity, solving problems, and making new knowledge. When you are busy with all of the activities that are part of being a graduate student though, you can lose sight of these foundational activities. Attending research conferences can help you regain your focus. Our annual Edward F. Hayes Graduate Research Forum is one such event, and I encourage you to mark your calendar for Friday, Feb. 21, in the Ohio Union.
