Course Registration

Students are responsible for knowing and observing Ohio State registration and payment deadlines available through the Registrar and Graduate School.

Students provisionally admitted to Ohio State must submit the final and official transcript(s) from the institution(s) at which they have been completing a degree or other required course work. Students should request that the transcripts be sent directly to Graduate Admissions. Failure to do so will result in a hold on their account, which prevents current and future registration.

Health insurance requirement

All students registered for at least half-time must have health insurance. Graduate non-degree students are not eligible for student health insurance unless granted an exception. Students who opt out of university coverage must provide proof of alternate coverage. To waive university coverage, go to Buckeye Link and the student center. Under Finances, select the link to Waive Coverage. More

Registration Process
  1. Go to osu.edu.
  2. Click on "Buckeye Link."
  3. Scroll down to the "SIS Student Center" and click "Student Center."
  4. Enter your OSU username (name.#) and password.
  5. At the Student Center, under Academics, click "Add a Class."
  6. The following page allows you to select the appropriate academic term and search the Master Schedule to select specific courses.
